In approximately two weeks' time (17th August) the Privacy, Security, and Trust (PST) 2010 conference will be starting in Ottawa. This annual event highlights recent research at the intersection of these three themes.

A new search engine for privacy and compliance officers to find out if there are peer-to-peer file sharing clients on their networks has just been launched. A user can enter a domain name and find out if there are any IP addresses within that domain with one or more p2p clients on the Gnutella p2p network.

The medical data breach dashblard has been updated with all breaches going up to the end of December 2009. This interactive tool allows users to look at trends and distributions of medical data breaches through a simple interface.
